JSM confirms plans for 2001.

JSM have announced their biggest and most exciting project ever taken; to run a total of six Alfa 147's, four in Class A and the other two in Class B (for Production cars) in the 2001 British Touring Car Championship.

All six cars have now been delivered to the team, and preparation work will begin immediately, with the intention of testing the first chassis in the next two weeks.

Since competing in last year's National Saloon Car Championships, JSM have worked hard to put together a strong team package.

Since competing in last year's National Saloon Car Championships, JSM have worked hard to put together a strong team package.

This has included bolstering the technical skills already on board, from the experience and background of its race engineers, with support from respected suppliers such as Swindon Racing Engines, Eibach and Agip.

As part of the new team package, JSM have also welcomed Tim Harvey as their full-time Race Team Manager, he will be in charge of the team's development during the 2001 season.

The team currently have three drivers in place, one of which is Enzo Mucci, who has a background in Formula Ford and Formula 3 - they are due to announce their other drivers in the coming weeks.
