Takagi Disqualified.
Arrows driver Tora Takagi was removed from the results of the French Grand Prix after it emerged that he received some of his team-mate's tyres at a pit-stop.
As with Rubens Barrichello in the Spanish GP, Takagi was excluded from a non-point scoring finish after he was given wet tyres marked up for team-mate Pedro de la Rosa in the confusion surrounding the wet/dry French GP. The decision disappointed the Arrows team, as Magny-Cours had provided one of the few occasions when both the team's cars made it to the chequered flag.

Arrows filed an appeal with the race stewards but, even though the officials admitted that the error was purely accidental, they decided to exclude Takagi regardless.
