Own a signed Schwantz replica!

With just 300 replicas available of Kevin Schwantz's Championship winning Suzuki RGV 500, now is the time to grab your own.

1993 Motorcycle World Champion Kevin Schwantz has signed a limited edition of just 300 replicas of his title-winning Suzuki RGV 500, exclusively for Grand Prix Legends.

Schwantz was a rider with a lot of talent and passion who could do amazing things on a bike and often won more races than his competitors in seasons where he failed to secure the crown. 1989 is a pertinent example of this; he won six out of 15 races for Suzuki, Lawson won four and Rainey three, but Schwantz finished only fourth in the championship.

By 1993, Schwantz had calmed down and mastered the lively RGV500. He won four of the first nine races, but was in the top three in all of them. However, his old injuries were beginning to impact upon his performance and at times he had to use his left hand to hold the throttle on the straights.

He took the title in tragic circumstances following Rainey's debilitating accident at Misano which left the Californian paralysed from the chest down. In losing a rival, Schwantz gained a friend, and today the two riders are still close pals.

The model itself is manufactured by Germany's premier model-makers, Minichamps. Modelled in 1:12 scale, the bike measures approximately seven inches in length, and is highly-detailed. Both the front and rear suspension operates exactly as on the real bike, and there is even a removable belly pan to reveal the RGV 500's glorious engine detail.

This model is strictly limited to just 300 pieces worldwide, and is sure to become a highly sought-after collector's item.
