Valentino Rossi unveils 2015 Mugello helmet
As is traditional, Valentino Rossi unveiled a special helmet design on Saturday morning of his home Italian MotoGP at Mugello.
The helmet features a mirror effect on the top 'to
symbolically mirror his fans and the crowded hills of the Mugello Circuit'.
Meanwhile the back of the helmet has several energy levels, starting from bright red for free practice and moving up to the maximum level of yellow, Rossi's favorite colour, on the grid.
On the right, the helmet features the number 46, combined with the "recycling" icon and the "Renewable Energy" writing.
On the left, "Yellow Energy" can be read and the footprints of Valentino's cat Rossano and his dogs Cesare and Camilla are drawn. The chin guard features blue solar panels to provide a further 'energy charge' to the seven time MotoGP champion.
