Pere Riba (SPA) will replace Alex Criville in the Antena 3 Yamaha d'Antin team for the upcoming MotoGP season, which begins on April 7th.
Criville is suffering from a physical condition that causes him to lose consciousness from time to time. Due to the nature of motor cycle racing, Criville has pulled out of riding for the time being as it would risk others and his own safety if he were to continue.

Riba will have the number 20 on his bike and will make his debut for the team at the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka.
