Vincent takes fifth GP win.
Frenchman Arnaud Vincent took his fifth MotoGP win in the 125cc category in an action packed race today at the Sachsenring.
The Frenchman lead from the very start of the race, pursued relentlessly by teenager Alex De Angelis. De Angelis patiently watched and made his move on the final lap to pass Vincent only for the experienced Frenchman to take the place back immediately and take the win.

Championship leader Manuel Poggiali suffered an appaling start after a long wait for the lights to finally signal the start of the race. The Gilera rider was down as far as 15th position before he started his move through the field.
By the eighth lap Poggiali was up to seventh place, by lap 18 he took third. Vincent and De Angelis were comfotably ahead leaving Poggiali to fight with Nieto and local boy Jenkner for third place.
At the finish Vincent only took the win from De Angelis by a mere tenth of a second. Third, taken to an ovation by the local Aprilia rider Steve Jenkner, was separated by a mere thousandth of a second from Poggiali who saw his champion lead reduced to seven points.
Pablo Nieto rode to a strong fifth place after duelling till the end for the final podium place.
