Yamaha fairing 'not final version'

Movistar Yamaha has been testing a new, more aggressive, version of its downforce fairing at this week's Valencia MotoGP test.

However since it is only a test, and not a race, that does not mean the design has been officially cleared for MotoGP use by Technical Director Danny Aldridge.

Indeed, it seems changes will be needed.

"I have been speaking to Yamaha and we have discussed what needs to change, so this won’t be their final version," Aldridge told Crash.net.
