BTCC regular Tom Onslow-Cole will make his debut in the Superstars International touring car series at Donington Park this weekend.

Onslow-Cole, who races for West Surrey Racing in the 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, competing under the eBay Motors banner, will line-up aboard one of the two Ferlito-prepared Jaguar XFR race cars at the Leicestershire based circuit.

His outing comes just days after his 25th birthday and in the midst of a one-month break in the BTCC schedule.

"It's going to be really exciting to drive these cars with so much power," he said. "I have watched some of the races and they are spectacular. The cars make the right noises and they move at the right speeds."

WSR team principal Dick Bennetts meanwhile added that he was happy to let his driver tackle the event.

"Tom is over the moon to get this chance to drive a 500hp touring car. He is a great young lad and I can't think of a better present for his 25th birthday," Bennetts added.

"We have been watching Superstars for some time now; it's an interesting series so I am very happy that Tom has been given this opportunity.

"He is a very sensible driver so I am really confident he will take to the big car well."
