Enaam Ahmed became only the second driver in the series’ history to surpass Ayrton Senna’s victory total (12), with the Carlin driver winning a staggering 13 out of 24 races as he finished over 150 points clear of his nearest challenger.

2018 will mark the 18-year-old’s toughest challenge yet as he embarks on a rookie season in European F3 with Silverstone-based Hitech GP. There, he will put his strong race craft to the test against some of the best rising single-seater stars and teams the world has to offer in a series that can be difficult to crack first time. 

Ahmed, who does not boast the backing from F1 teams like many of his peers, will be keen to make a quick transition and impress from the off, in a bid to force himself onto the radar of F1 teams scouting for the next batch of junior drivers.
