F1: Verstappen reveals car number choice
Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen confirms his choice of number for his Formula 1 career
Max Verstappen has revealed the permanent race number he will carry throughout his Formula 1 career.
The Dutchman, son of former F1 driver Jos, will become the youngest driver to make his F1 race debut next season and he will use number 33, a decision he revealed via Twitter.
"So guys I'm ready to announce my number for next season... Did take a while to decide but I have chosen it now..." the 17-year-old tweeted.
"Since I was a young kid I was racing around with this number. So I thought it is nice to keep that in F1 as well! #33"
