AT&T makes connection with Jaguar.

Communications giant AT&T has announced a three-year partnership with Ford Motor Company as sponsor to the Jaguar Racing team.

The agreement positions AT&T as a key sponsor alongside other global leaders on the flanks of the Jaguar-Cosworth R2, including HSBC, Hewlett-Packard and Beck's. The company serves the networking needs of many major multi-nationals, using advanced internet protocols and data networking solutions that currently extend to 850 cities in 58 countries, and is among the world's premier voice, video and data communications companies.

The tie-up between AT&T and Jaguar Racing was announced at the team's 2001 launch in Coventry.

In fact, we are currently working with AT&T to establish a network that will allow us to communicate from all 17 grand prix sites in 14 countries back to out headquarters in Milton Keynes, our design teams at Cosworth and to Ford in the USA."
