McLaren boss Ron Dennis has branded the new Bernie Ecclestone owned Formula 1 Magazine a 'disgrace' and over the British GP weekend it was banned from the McLaren motorhome.

Dennis is believed to be livid with the magazine after they published pictures of Mika Hakkinen's near-fatal crash in Adelaide in 1995 and shots of the aircraft crash that killed Mercedes-Ilmor engine builder Paul Morgan.

The McLaren boss is also said to be unimpressed with the space the magazine devoted to Adrian Newey and his on-off move to Jaguar and according to the Daily Mail regular contributors David Coulthard and McLaren test driver Alexander Wurz will also no longer supply material to the magazine as from next month.

When asked about the issue over the British GP weekend Dennis refused to say much other than: "I don't really want to make any comment. I think everybody knows the background to the situation. I'm comfortable, very comfortable with my period in motor sport. I'm far from perfect, but those people who know me well know what my values are so it's just rubbish. I'm not going to really give it any credibility by commenting further on it."
