Malaysia's Minister of Sport visits Sauber.

Sauber Motorsport AG and Sauber Petronas Engineering AG welcomed another important visitor from Malaysia today.

In June the Prime Minister, the Honourable Dato Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, visited the Formula 1 headquarters in Hinwil. Today, Peter Sauber, the Team Principal, welcomed the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dato Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

The Minister, who is attending the Commonwealth Games in England at the moment, took time out from his busy schedule to pay a day visit to Hinwil (near Z?rich - Switzerland).

The visit of another high-ranking member of the Malaysian government underlines once more the close ties with Malaysia and the excellent co-operation between Petronas and the Swiss Formula 1 Team, which just scored its eleventh point in the FIA F1 World Championship in Hockenheim yesterday.

Besides a tour of the Formula 1 facilities, Dato Hishammuddin Tun Hussein also visited Sauber Petronas Engineering AG, to get an overview of the various engineering projects carried out for Petronas.
