Senna concert to honour Brazilian hero.
Three-time Formula One world champion Ayrton Senna will be the focus of attention this season, which marks the tenth anniversary of his untimely death at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.
Ayrton Senna Year will be populated by various events, begin on 20 March - the eve of what would have been Senna's 44th birthday - with a musical extravaganza entitled Senna in Concert - a tribute to a Brazilian hero.

Ayrton Senna Year will be populated by various events, begin on 20 March - the eve of what would have been Senna's 44th birthday - with a musical extravaganza entitled Senna in Concert - a tribute to a Brazilian hero.
The concert will be held at Sao Paulo's Paulo Machado de Carvalho Stadium, more commonly known as Pacaembu Stadium, where around 30,000 people are expected to remember Senna's life and career. The show expects to bring together a range of artists and personalities to celebrate Senna's biggest legacy to Brazilian people - his values.
"Ayrton will always be remembered for his talent and victories as a pilot, but there is much more," explained Ayrton's sister Viviane Senna, president of the Ayrton Senna Institute, "Ayrton was proud of being a Brazilian, and pursued the ideal of building a more just and equitable nation.
"As a person or as a professional, he always showed his beliefs and values by his actions in such a way that he won admiration and respect. This year, we want to celebrate his values to evoke the Ayrton Senna that lives within each of us to remember that hard work combined with determination and discipline can make a dream come true."
Senna in Concert will be an unique opportunity to see some of the most popular Brazilian musicians together in one place. Milton Nascimento, Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Daniela Mercury, Frejat, Gilberto Gil, Ivete Sangalo, and Sandy & Junior are all expected to perform, while personalities such as the journalists Chico Pinheiro and Galv?o Bueno, four-time champion Dunga, two-time F1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi, as well as the TV presenter Xuxa, will also be present. Other personalities, including musician Herbert Vianna, soccer world champion Ronaldinho and tennis champion Gustavo Kuerten, will appear on video.
With the artistic direction of Jos? Possi Neto, the concert will have scenery and technological effects never seen before in the country.
"The set list was based on Ayrton Senna's values to illustrate concepts such as determination, faith, patriotism, courage, and persistence using popular music and images", says the director, "There will be a lot of emotion in this concert, as well as musical presentations combining two and four artists who will perform together for the first time. The appearance of the president Lula on video will be another special moment."
Senna in Concert marks official opening of the Ayrton Senna do Brasil/Ayrton Senna No Limits projects, which will include a series of concerts, events and exhibitions in Brazil and abroad throughout 2004. The Ayrton Senna Experience exhibition will be displayed in Brazil, Europe and Japan, while the Ayrton Senna Racing Day, a relay marathon takes place at Interlagos in August.
Senna in Concert is being produced by the Ayrton Senna Institute, in association with Sight.Momentum. Major support comes from Tim and Renault, along with sponsorship from of Chandon, Golden Cross, and the City of S?o Paulo.
