Euro 3000 free test a success.

Last week the Roman track of Vallelunga reverberated to the sound of some thirty-eight drivers from some twelve different countries having a go with the 500 bhp of a contemporary F3000 car from the Euro series.

The test was organised by International Promotions and ESTA, the Euro Series Team Association, and its objective was to get young drivers from all over the world, competing in various different categories, to test at the circuit.

Costing nothing to the drivers themselves, the event involved the teams that took part in the 2002 Euro 3000 Series and organiser Mr. Corbari. It was a measure of support for the series that the team worked together to cover the high cost to mount such an exercise.

All the Lola B99/50 cars (one for each team) tested with the same set-up and no lap times were taken because the target of this test was to promote the Series and there wasn't any intention to create a competition between the 38 drivers.
