Haas in 2025

Haas will be confident heading into the new campaign under Ayao Komatsu’s leadership. The 2024 season proved to be a breakthrough year for Haas as they finished seventh in the F1 constructors’ championship - a notable improvement over recent years.

More importantly, the upgrades they introduced to the car were effective - something that had rarely happened in the past. Haas have an all-new driver line-up, with Esteban Ocon teaming up with Ferrari junior driver Oliver Bearman.

Leading F1’s midfield behind the top four teams will surely be Haas’ aim in 2025.

Haas' F1 History

Haas are F1’s newest team on the grid, joining the sport in 2016. From the outset, Haas - unlike the trio of new teams which famously entered in 2010 - scored points on their debut. They built on this foundation in 2017 and 2018, benefitting from Ferrari’s improved power unit.

To date, 2018 remains Haas’ best F1 season, securing fifth in the constructors’ championship. However, the subsequent five seasons were underwhelming, with their reliance on Ferrari not delivering consistent results.

A change in leadership for the 2024 campaign proved to be a turning point as Ayao Komatsu replaced Guenther Steiner as team principal.

Although Haas narrowly lost out to Alpine in the final constructors’ standings, they consistently led the midfield, with their upgrades making a significant impact throughout the season.
