Having announced the purchase of Cosworth Racing with fellow Champ Car World Series co-owner Gerald Forsythe in London, Kevin Kalkhoven will now head back to the USA to guest on the Wind Tunnel program, on SPEED Channel, on Thursday.
As a successful venture capitalist who stepped into the limelight of the motorsport world last year, Kalkhoven teamed up with Craig Pollock to form PK Racing in 2003. The duo were joined by 1996 Champ Car title-winner Jimmy Vasser and business partner Dan Pettit to expand to a two-car effort in 2004 under the name of PKV Racing running Vasser and rookie Roberto Gonzalez from Mexico.
In addition to his team ownership, the Australian joined fellow Champ Car team owners Forsythe and Paul Gentilozzi to purchase the assets of CART in January of 2004 to save and revive the Champ Car World Series.
With the 2004 season now ended with a new champion crowned, and the deal for Cosworth completed, Kalkhoven will appear as a guest on the motorsport show hosted by Dave Despain to talk about the past year, the big purchases, and the future.
