Fellows hit by food poisoning.
Canadian Corvette driver Ron Fellows has been rendered hors de combat after going down with a bout of food poisoning at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The C5-R regular could not disclose exactly what had caused his ailment, which does not appear to have affected the rest of the two-car team, but is unlikely to take any further part in proceedings at La Sarthe after being restricted to the team's hospitality unit for much of the night. When he did re-appear in pit-lane, Fellows admitted that he was improving slowly, but was not thinking about getting back behind the wheel.

Co-drivers Johnny O'Connell and Oliver Gavin have since taken full responsibility for the GTS-class leading #63 Corvette, which currently holds a one-lap lead over its sister car.
