This is a rare photo sequence (CLICK HERE) of the accident that left reigning seven time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi with a broken right leg, and ended his 2010 title hopes.
The fast highside crash took place in Saturday practice at Mugello and is believed to have been caused by a cool rear tyre.
It was not captured fully by the TV cameras but can be seen almost from start to finish here.
Rossi hopes to be back in action at Brno in mid-August.
