PIC: Valentino Rossi celebrates first grand prix win
You can find this picture on the Crash.net Facebook page, but for those that haven't seen it, here is Valentino Rossi celebrating his very first ever grand prix win in the 125cc class at Brno in 1996.
The nine time world champion returns to Brno this weekend as a winner of 106 grand prix races.
Update: On Thursday at Brno, Rossi had this to say about his first win: "It's a long, long time! Anyway, I am very proud to still be part of the game and to have stayed at the top. It was a moment I will never forget, because in the career of a rider, the first victory in the world championship together with the first pole [Rossi won from pole in '96] is fantastic. I like this track a lot."
Peter has been in the paddock for 20 years and has seen Valentino Rossi come and go. He is at the forefront of the Suzuki exit story and Marc Marquez’s injury issues.
