Jacque may miss home GP.

World 250 Champion Olivier Jacque will wait until after the Friday morning practice session at Le Mans before deciding if he is fit to ride in the MotoGP 500cc race, at the French Grand Prix, on Sunday.

Jacque broke his arm in a pre-season testing crash in Malaysia and bravely rode in the first two grand prix in Japan and South Africa, but missed the last grand prix at Jerez in Spain.

Jacque broke his arm in a pre-season testing crash in Malaysia and bravely rode in the first two grand prix in Japan and South Africa, but missed the last grand prix at Jerez in Spain.

"I've learnt to be patient because there is no point in trying to adapt to riding a 500cc machine when you are not fit," explained Jacque, this afternoon. "I'm desperate to ride in front of the French fans on Sunday but I will not make a decision until after practice tomorrow (Friday) morning."
