Red Bull Yamaha WCM star Garry McCoy enjoyed some "time off" from his 500cc factory MotoGP racer, to climb aboard a Motocross bike at the Freestyle Motocross Invitational in Valencia, Spain.
The Freestyle spectacular was inaugurated by McCoy and American "Mad" Mike Jones, who three days prior in Munich had won the Nea Extreme Sports Award.
The event, which coincided with the close of Valencia's July bull-fest, drew a roaring crowd of 10,000 who packed into the arena to watch, not bulls, but the world's top eight motocross pilots.

With a series of dazzling 20 meter-long 12-meter high jumps, and to the delight of the crowd, Jones fought out a nail-biting battle to the finish with home-boy, Spaniard Edgar Torronteras.
In this light-and-sound spectacular, that went on through the night, Jones snatched the title from Torronteras by only half a point, and finished eight points ahead of third-placed Frenchman, Xavier Fabre.
