Sheene says 'no' to chemo.
Barry Sheene has confirmed that he has ruled out the use of chemotherapy in an attempt to cure the cancer with which he was diagnosed last month.

"I have made a decision about not doing chemotherapy and that's it. I'm putting my faith in the natural way. I have been using this method ever since the cancer was diagnosed. I haven't eaten for the past twelve days, but today I've just had a few vegetables. I'm just going to carry on as normally as I can."
Sheene is understood to be following a strict diet devised by Austrian Rudolf Breuss, who was born more than 100 years ago, which involves eating and drinking a mixture of organic vegetables, including beetroot, carrots and celery.
