Aprilia 'in trouble' as bike keeps jumping.

Aprilia riders Noriyuki Haga and Colin Edwards were left hanging on to an ill handling machine today at Mugello, Haga describing his RS Cube as jumping in the corners.

"We still have problems: especially in the corners where the bike jumps to much. I hope to solve them soon because I want to get to the top," said Nitro Nori, who improved his time today, but was still left just 16th fastest.

Team-mate Edwards was one of the non-improvers and will start 13th in Aprilia's home event.

"Today was very difficult. I tried to do the best I could, we tested many things but the bike is not enough fast in the corners yet," said the Texan. "There are three different corners where I'm struggling."

"We had some setting problems due to the hot temperature," began Project leafder Gigi Dall'Igna. "We tried to test different solutions but we are still in trouble.

"If we check the data the bike still jumps in the corners but this is not a serious problem. The worst is the skip of the rear," he added. "We have some new ideas in order to solve it and we will do it tomorrow during the warm up: we want to get to the top and we are working very hard."
