Injury blow for Roberts.
Suzuki's pre-season development plans have taken yet another blow with the news that Kenny Roberts Jr is unlikley to take any further part in the latest three-day Sepang test, after a tyre failure induced fall earlier today (Wednesday).
The 2000 world champion is believed to have hit trouble when his rear Bridgestone failed as he was attemping to pass Aprilia rider Jeremy McWilliams. The resulting loss of grip then pictched the Amercian into a Malaysian gravel trap, where early reports indicate he has injured his shoulder badly enough to rule him out of the next two days.

The loss, albeit temporarily, of Roberts follows team-mate John Hopkins' double ankle injury in a recent Supercross accident, and means that Suzuki will have to rely on former WSBK star Gregorio Lavilla and test rider Kousuke Akiyoshi to help sort the GSV-R for the remainder of the test.
