Ellison gets 2005 Blata V6 ride.
WCM have confirmed that 24-year-old James Ellison will ride their brand new Blata V6 machine in the 2005 MotoGP world championship.
WCM - a 500cc GP winning team under the Red Bull Yamaha banner - have been fielding their own prototype Harris WCM machine since losing Red Bull and Yamaha backing at the end of 2002, but have joined forces with the Czech manufacturer to help advance back up the grid from next season.

Ellison won this year's British Superbike Cup championship and has impressed the WCM team after being called up late in the season to stand in for Michel Fabrizio and Chris Burns. His best finish to date is a 13th at the Qatar Grand Prix.
Ellison finished 22nd in Sunday's Australian Grand Prix after running off track while dicing with Proton KR's James Haydon, dropping the bike and riding back to the pits to change handlebars and fairing.
It is not known who will partner Ellison at WCM next season, but 250 GP veterans Franco Battaini and Naoki Matsudo have been linked to the project.
