As indicated last week, Team KR has today (Monday) begun a two-day shakedown test with its 'KR-KTM' at the Valencia circuit in Spain.
Kenny Roberts' outfit were named as running Shane Byrne on last week's MotoGP entry list, but Team KR general manager Chuck Aksland told Crash.net that there were still some details to be sorted out before their intended Byrne/KTM/Michelin line-up could be announced.

"The entry list got published with what we're all hoping to try and achieve there's still some matters that need to be firmed up before we can officially announce anything," he said. "Right now we're planning on shakedown tests at Valencia on the 7th and 8th so hopefully before then."
No announcement has since been made but, after checking with the team this morning, Crash.net can confirm that "the test is on"...
