Bayliss suffers memory loss after huge highside.
Troy Bayliss may have walked away from his huge highside in this afternoon's second free practice session - and even returned on his spare bike - but the fall wasn't without consequences as the tough Australian was left suffering from memory loss and a sore shoulder.
"I can't really say much about today because I don't remember too much!" said Bayliss with a wry smile. "I crashed, and then returned to the box, but don't remember the incident. I hit the ground with my left shoulder, it was a big hit, but as it wasn't hurting that much I went out again.

"I think I need a bit of a rest, but tomorrow I'll ride again because this morning we did a good job, riding consistently fast and I want to make some good progress again tomorrow," declared Bayliss, who was left 16th fastest today but had been sixth this morning.
Bayliss initially couldn't remember the hours leading up to the accident, although his memory has since begun to return and - after visiting Doctor Ruggiero Mattioli's mobile clinic - it was decided that there was no need for him to have a CAT scan.
The Doctor (no not Rossi!) will instead visit the Camel Honda rider tomorrow morning before he takes to the track for the third free practice session.
