Olympic star Pinsent takes two-seater ride.

Four-times Olympic gold medallist Sir Matthew Pinsent had the ride of his life with former grand prix star Randy Mamola at the weekend.

The self-confessed bike nut, who won his medals in rowing, rode pillion on the 200mph two-seater Ducati Desmosedici on the eve of the British Grand Prix at Donington Park.

"That was pretty jaw dropping," said Pinsent as he took off his helmet. "I was never scared but it was hugely exhilarating. Randy was never out of control and so precise, which was not easy with such a big bloke on the back."
