British 250cc hope Chaz Davies has been confirmed as one of Team Campetella's two entries in this year's world championship, where he will be racing alongside Japanese rival Taro Sekiguchi.

Davies' deal - which will see him remain on Aprilia machinery - was revealed in conjunction with the unveiling of Campetella's new sponsor, internet service provider Ticino Hosting, and confirms his place on the 250cc grid for a fourth year, following three seasons spent with Aprilia Germany.

The 2006 campaign will be Ticino's first as part of the MotoGP circus, and the company has spread its backing to also include the 125cc world championship, as well as involvement in European Superstock, the Campionato Italiano Velocit? and Honda Trophy. Sixteen-year old Italian Andrea Iannone will represent the team in the junior grand prix class.
