10,000 fans a day at Misano MotoGPs
The Misano circuit has secured permission for 10,000 fans per day to attend its back-to-back MotoGP rounds, to be held on September 11-13 and 18-20.
Although far below the 158,000 weekend fans at last year's event, and just 10% of total circuit capacity, the venue will thus become the first this season to have any MotoGP spectators in attendance.
“It is a decision that excites us," said a statement on the Misano circuit website, "because under specific conditions it also represents a green light for the restart of world sport, finally in front of the fans.

“It is a decision that excites us," said a statement on the Misano circuit website, "because under specific conditions it also represents a green light for the restart of world sport, finally in front of the fans.
"In a month we will be ready to safely welcome 10,000 guests who will be able to enter the circuit every day, thus guaranteeing the possibility that 60,000 people over the two weekends can see the show live.
"Sincere thanks to the Emilia-Romagna Region and to President Bonaccini for having listened to and carefully evaluated our project."
The fans allowed entry will use dedicated parking areas and be seated within 15 dedicated grandstands. Over 700 stewards will be deployed to ensure fans abide by the special rules.
Other venues such as Le Mans, Valencia and Portimao are also hoping to allow some fans to attend their events but unlike Misano are yet to secure official permission.
