Crash.net MotoGP podcast with Keith Huewen: Special guest Danny Aldridge
This week's episode of the Crash.net MotoGP podcast sees Keith Huewen, Crash.net MotoGP editor Peter McLaren and Podcast host Harry Benjamin joined by MotoGP technical director Danny Aldridge.
Aldridge explains the parties and processes involved in agreeing MotoGP's technical regulations before being quizzed on specific topics such as wings, ride-height devices, the technical freeze, eight Ducatis on next year's grid, the forensic checking of parts following Yamaha's valve situation at the start of 2020 and whether any 'green' technology is on the horizon.
After some more questions sent in by listeners for Aldridge, the final part of the show sees attention turn to the season-ending Jerez MotoGP test.
There's a rundown on what each of the factories did - and didn't - bring, plus a look at the rookies and a debate on whether a super-license should be introduced to ensure a minimum level of experience and/or success in junior classes before reaching MotoGP.
