2001 Continues with the Repsol YPF Honda Team in the 500cc World Championship - finishes eighth in the Drivers' series with 120 points.

2000 Raced in the 500cc World Championship with Repsol Honda. Ninth in the championship.

1999 Raced in the 500cc World Championship. Six wins and won the championship with Repsol Honda.

1998 Third in the 500cc World Championship with Repsol Honda.

1997 Raced in the 500cc World Championship. Finished fourth in the standings racing for Repsol Honda.
