Valencia MotoGP, Ricardo Tormo - Full Qualifying Results

Morbidelli takes pole position for the Valencia MotoGP and will be joined on an all-satellite front row by Miller and Nakagami.

With spots of rain in the air throughout qualifying, world championship leader Mir could only manage 12th and last in Q2.

However, his nearest title rivals also couldn't make an impact with Quartararo (who, like Binder, only had one new soft tyre left) starting 11th after having to fight through Qualifying 1 and Rins down in 14th.

Mir starts the penultimate round with a 37-point lead over Rins and Quartararo, 41-point lead over Vinales and 45-point advantage over Morbidelli and Dovizioso. Mir will be crowned world champion on Sunday if he has a title lead of at least 26-points.

Iker Lecuona hoped to return on Saturday morning after being forced to miss last weekend's round and self-isolate due to a positive Covid test for his brother and assistant, but has also now tested positive.

HRC test rider Bradl is replacing injured reigning world champion Marc Marquez, who won't return until 2021.
