Oliveira takes a perfect home victory with lights-to-flag domination of the 2020 Portimao MotoGP season finale. Morbidelli held off Miller for most of the race, but the Australian made a last-lap pass to snatch second.
Crutchlow fastest during his final morning warm-up as a full-time MotoGP rider, at Portimao. LCR team-mate Nakagami second ahead of KTM rookie Binder, who was quickest for most of the session. Bradl walked away from a fast fall at Turn 9.
Oliveira takes his first MotoGP pole at home in Portimao. Morbidelli and Miller complete the front row, with Crutchlow starting fourth for his final race as a full-time MotoGP rider.
The top two riders in Q1 - Crutchlow and Morbidelli - now progress to the Q2 pole position shootout, where they will join the ten fastest riders after third practice. The others will start, in the following order, from 13th on the grid onwards…
Espargaro and home hero Oliveira form a KTM one-two during final practice for the Inaugural Portimao MotoGP round. Espargaro slid off at Turn 5 early in the session, while Zarco suffered an engine problem at the end, stopping with smoke spewing from his machine.
