Scott Anderson joins Scorpions
The Scunthorpe Scorpions have signed Scott Anderson as a squad member for the 2007 season after he impressed during the club's winter practice sessions.
31-year old Anderson, who lives locally in Kirton-in-Lindsey, initially came to the Scunthorpe Raceway to watch the Scorpions in 2005 before stepping astride a speedway bike to experience the thrill firsthand.
Scott did compete in motor cross as a teenager but even so his progression on a speedway bike was very rapid until a knee injury kept him out of the saddle for most of last season.

Now back riding his improvement has continued and with other Conference League clubs showing interest it was the Scorpions who ensured that it would be their squad that he would be added to.
It is hoped that the Scorpions team can be finalised early in the New Year, soon after the league confirm all the rider grades.
