While Senna was able to get out of the car unassisted following the crash, a WEC spokesperson confirmed to Crash.net at Silverstone that the Brazilian would be missing the remainder of the race weekend after injuring his foot in the incident.

Senna was spotted using crutches in the paddock, and wearing a soft boot on his left foot as a result of the injury.

As a result, the #1 Rebellion entry is set to reduce to two drivers for the rest of the Silverstone weekend, with Andre Lotterer and Neel Jani sharing driving duties from FP2 onwards.
