Following wins for Toprak Razgatlioglu in Race 1 and the Superpole Race, the Turkish rider enters Race 2 in Portimao, the final race of this weekend, as the favourite for victory.
We're only 10 minutes out from the start of Race 2 now. Alvaro Bautista will start once again from sixth, and will be hoping for a better start than those he managed in Race 1 and the Superpole Race, the latter probably ultimately costing him a chance to start from the front row in this second full-length race.
Aside from Toprak Razgatlioglu's chance at extending his consecutive wins record to 13, there is a chance for Danilo Petrucci to make some personal history in this race. Not only does he have an opportunity to win his first WorldSBK race, he also has the chance to finish on the podium for the third time in one round, something he is yet to do.
Pit lane is now open ahead of WorldSBK Race 2 and the riders head out on their sighting lap.
We're just under half-an-hour out from the third and final race of this weekend's Portuguese WorldSBK, set to start at 18:00 local time. Toprak Razgatlioglu is the clear favourite to take victory in Race 2, having set pole position in Superpole, and won both Race 1 and the Superpole Race.
