Josh Brookes moved to the fore in final free practice ahead of qualifying for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Donington Park, ahead of Jason O'Halloran.
Brookes was barely headed in the session, the Australian – a double winner last time out at Oulton Park – powering to the top within 15mins before holding that position to the chequered flag with a best of 1m 16.138s.
Behind him, Jason O'Halloran popped up late on the McAMS Yamaha to secure second, ahead of Brookes' Be Wiser Ducati team-mate Redding slotted in second place, the pair just a tenth off the top spot. Bridewell emphasised the pace of the Ducati Panigale V4 R by placing his privateer Oxford Racing machine fourth.
A late effort by Luke Stapleford lifted him to fifth position on the Buildbase Suzuki, ahead GSX-R1000 counterpart Luke Mossey on the OMG Suzuki. Series leader Tarran Mackenzie, top Honda rider Andrew Irwin and Peter Hickman completed the top ten.
Elsewhere, Josh Elliott was a fine 13th just a day after a huge crash on Friday destroyed his Suzuki, but there disappointment for FP2 pace setter for Keith Farmer, who was the latest of several riders to come down at Craner, leaving him down in 18th place overall.
Similarly, Ryan Vickers – who ran as high as second on the leaderboard early on - was another faller and has been taken to the medical centre.
