Mossey reunited with Bournemouth Kawasaki for 2021 National Superstock season
Former British Superbike rider Luke Mossey has reunited with Bournemouth Kawasaki for the 2021 Pirelli National Superstock campaign.
It will be a welcome return to the Bournemouth Kawasaki Racing with HEL Performance Team for Mossey, who enjoyed most of his Superbike success with them back in 2017 as team-mate to 2018 series champion Leon Haslam.
The team run by Pete Extance stepped away from the series last year to focus on expanding their retail business, while Mossey competed with BMW RICH Energy OMG Racing.
With the BSB season opener at Oulton Park just two months away, the news comes at a good time for Mossey who was without a ride heading into pre-season testing before signing with the team.
Mossey added: "I can’t thank Pete and Bournemouth Kawasaki enough for helping out this season. It was not looking like a ride was available for the start of the championship, so to sort this out at the eleventh hour is fantastic.
"I really loved my time with Bournemouth Kawasaki during the four years I was with them in Superbikes. I felt we had a chance of fighting for the title together in BSB, until a huge highside at Thruxton left me with an injury when I had been leading the Championship.
"Superstock 1000 will be a new challenge for me and one that I am really excited about on the new Kawasaki ZX10RR; we have had a few rides on the 19 RR stock model and I can’t wait to get out on the new bike. Thanks again to Pete and the team and my loyal sponsors who have stood by me."
