O’Halloran carrying ‘huge amount of confidence’ into Donington Park
Wet or dry, Jason O’Halloran had an answer for all weather conditions and the British Superbike competition at Thruxton.
The Australian completed his second treble of the season after achieving the same results at Oulton Park (round one).
Round five sees the more traditional layout of Donington Park play host to the BSB paddock.
But whether it’s been a Grand Prix type layout such as Brands Hatch, or the unusual circuits like Thruxton and Knockhill, O’Halloran has been a consistent presence at the front.
The McAMS Yamaha rider heads into this weekend with a 42 point advantage over Christian Iddon.
Speaking ahead of the weekend, O’Halloran added: "I am feeling really good. We have had four rounds so far and I have managed to win a race at three of them, and although we didn’t win at Knockhill, it was my first ever podium there, so we have had a podium at every round.”
"I am comfortable and confident with what we are doing and I am feeling really good on the McAMS Yamaha.
"Obviously coming off the back of three wins at Thruxton, two dry and one in the wet, gives me a huge amount of confidence going forwards.”
"I think it will be even more competitive this weekend as Thruxton was a little bit of a different circuit, and I think there are quite a few of us who go well at Donington Park, so I think we are set for some great racing.
"I feel like I am carrying some good form at the moment and I just want to maintain that."
