Specsavers Suzuki unveil 2022 BSB colours for Leon Jeacock
Specsavers Suzuki officially presents its 2022 BSB livery for Leon Jeacock and Pirelli National Superstock rider Antony Moore.
The all-new Suzuki outfit will be making their BSB debut during the upcoming season, while Leon Jeacock will also be doing the same.
Both Jeacock and Moore will be riding a bright green and white GSR-R 1000 which represents title sponsor Specsavers.
Last week’s confirmation of Jeacock joining the 2022 BSB grid means he becomes the 31st rider to officially be announced, while he will also be the fourth rider on Suzuki machinery after Christian Iddon/Danny Kent (Buildbase Suzuki) and Bjorn Estment (Powerslide Catfoss) have also been confirmed.
Regarding the Superstock class, Moore will be competing alongside his commitments as team owner.
Moore added: "I am really excited to unveil our livery for the 2022 season, our first in the Superbike class and also for the Superstock class. We have been working hard on preparation for the season ahead with Hawk Racing, and we are looking forward to the first official test next month.
"We thank all of our team partners, especially Specsavers, who are helping us take the next step in the British Championship.”
"Last season was a big learning curve for me as a rider, especially with the condensed calendar. It was also my first season riding in the national series and I knew it was going to be tough compared to what I was used to in club racing.
"My aim was to qualify for the rounds and I was happy I qualified at all but two. I rode particularly well on the tracks I had never been to before, and ironed out the others towards the end of the year.
"Unfortunately, I ended my season early due to injury, but I am ready to continue my progression as a rider and I will be trying to move up a few positions in the standings this year."
Jeacock will get his first BSB action during next month’s opening pre-season test at Snetterton, before another two tests take place at Oulton Park and Silverstone. The official season opener takes place over the Easter holiday weekend (April 15-17).
