2021 British Superbike Oulton Park - Race (1) Results
Jason O’Halloran claims the first Bennetts British Superbike win of 2021 after a battle with Ducati riders Christian Iddon who took second, and Tommy Bridewell - finished third.
Iddon made the better start as he took the lead from Bridewell who was relegated to fourth by both McAMS Yamahas.
The race-winning overtake from O’Halloran came with four to go, after Iddon had led the opening ten laps.
Peter Hickman took fourth place on his competitive debut for the FHO Racing BMW team, while Tarran Mackenzie was fifth.
Danny Kent crashed just before mid-race distance at the final corner when running inside the top ten.

The first Bennetts British Superbike pole of 2021 went the way of Ducati’s Tommy Bridewell following the inaugural top ten Superpicks shootout.
O’Halloran finished this morning’s FP3 fastest for McAMS Yamaha heading into the first British Superbike qualifying session of 2021.
Bridewell was fastest on day-one of BSB action at Oulton Park, as the new Superpicks format delivered a thrilling battle.
Pre-season favorite O’Halloran was fastest in FP1, before taking second during the afternoon - +0.369s down on the impressive benchmark time set by Bridewell.
The top Ducati was Iddon as he claimed third place, while BMW riders Bradley Ray and Danny Buchan rounded out the top five. Defending series champion Josh Brookes sneaked into the all-important top 12 with tenth.
The BSB Superpicks format - new for 2021, means the top 12 riders from Friday on combined times are granted automatic progression to Q2.
Xavi Fores was unable to take part in both qualifying and the race after suffering a free practice injury.
