Race One
Iddon’ run of second place finishes to begin the 2021 British Superbike campaign is over thanks to race one victory at Knockhill.
Iddon held off a late double charge by championship leader O’Halloran and BMW’s Danny Buchan.
All three riders shared time as the race leader, however, a near crash for Buchan on lap six when momentarily losing the front at turn 8, saw the 28 year-old slip down to fourth.
Iddon regained the lead for the second time after having passed O’Halloran three laps prior, a position he converted into victory unlike all three races at Oulton Park.
Bradley Ray and Skinner both came across the line for their best finishes of the season - fourth and fifth respectively.
