Stop to pitstops in BTCC.
The recently announced revisions to the British Touring Car Championship format for 2004 spells an end to the pitstops in which so many races were won or lost in 2003.
Though the stops did provide quite an exciting strategic element to races this year, there shouldn't be too much time to miss them next year as there will be three races on race day.

"With pit stops no longer playing a part in their race strategy, the drivers won't have the comfort of their team's assistance to help them... it's all down to pure non-stop racing," commented Alan Gow upon the announcement of the series' revisions for next year.
Next year the TOCA Tour will make a return to Scotland's Knockhill circuit, with Rockingham having been dropped from the calendar. The hugely successful SEAT Cupra Cup is on the line-up as is the all new Formula BMW UK Championship and the ever popular Porsche Michelin Carrera Cup GB, Elf Clio Renaultsport UK Cup and the Formula Renault UK Championship.
