Keen has first track taste of BMW.
Today at the Norfolk track of Snetterton preparations for the German marque of BMW to make its 2004 BTCC debut were well underway as single-seater and sportcar racer Justin Keen had his first taste of the Edenbridge Racing ETCC BMW 320i.
With a deal for the endurance racer coming together late in the day, this was Keen's first chance to sample the car. Indeed, it was his first time in a touring car.

With ETCC spec cars allowed in the British Touring car Championship for 2004, and with SEAT driver Jason Plato showing this past weekend at Thruxton that victory is indeed possible with the cars, the presence of another in the British series is sure to bring plenty of excitement.
The ETCC cars allowed to run 50 kg lighter to make them competitive with the BTCC spec machines, and in the ETCC the BMWs fare far better than the SEATs...
Keen completed over 80 laps today, "giving me a great chance to the car," he told his personal website.
That's it now for the car and driver until they make their BTCC race weekend competition debut at Brands Hatch.
