SEAT: Plato has a great chance at Bathurst.
Jason Plato is looking forward to a third attempt at the famous Bathurst 1000 after yesterday's announcement of his entry into the race.
Plato will line up alongside Australian touring car legend Peter Brock for the highlight of the V8 Supercar series in a Holden Racing Team VY Commodore.
Brock, a nine-time winner at Bathurst, will be making his 36th and final appearance at Mount Panorama and Plato says he is looking forward to it.

"I've been a huge fan of the annual Bathurst race for years," he said, "so to get another run around the place alongside a legend like Peter Brock doesn't get much better for a driver."
SEAT UK Motorsport Manager Scott Dennis believes that Holdens decision to ask Plato to drive the car is just reward for his performances for the BTCC debutants this season.
"Jason has our full support to take part in this year's Bathurst 1000kms," he said. "It's great that his successful return to the British Touring Car Championship with SEAT Sport UK this year has been recognised as far away as Australia and I'm sure that teaming up with Peter Brock will give Jason a very good chance of scoring a fantastic result."
