Curley steps in to solve grid girl issue.
Having forgotten to bring the grid girls for the opening round of the British Touring Car season, the HPI Racing with Friends Reunited team finally managed to unveil one of the most stunning grid 'babes' seen in the BTCC for many years to celebrate a pole position in the final race of the day at Donington Park.

With his Lexus IS200 not ready to take to the track, team-mate Ian Curley spent the weekend working feverishly with mechanics on Williams' car and it seemed only right for him to at least make an appearance on the grid at the opening round of the year.
Although the initial suggestion drew some choice words from Mr Curley - who couldn't be persuaded to don a pair of hot pants and bikini top - he did indeed take his place as grid 'girl' in front of the live ITV cameras for the third race, drawing much of the photographers attention before the final race of the day.
Unfortunatley for female fans, its likely to just be a one off, with "that hairy stunning thing" (Richie's words, not ours) due to take his place on the grid for the next round of the season at Thruxton as part of a two-pronged Lexus attack on the championship.
