Howell reprimanded - keeps pole.

Gareth Howell has been reprimanded for the incident that saw Adam Jones crash out of the final meeting of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone.

BTCC officials deemed that Jones' season ending incident during the second free practice session had occurred due to contact with Howell's Team Halfords Honda Integra, with Howell given two penalty points on his licence as a result.

However he will remain on pole position for the first of Sunday's three races, when he will hope to repeat his victory from Silverstone twelve months ago.
