Jason Plato has reduced the gap separating him from the lead in the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) to just 20 points following victory in race two at Rockingham - a success that marked the 2001 title-winner's 50th career success in the hotly-fought tin-top series.

Round 24: Turkington prevents Gio clean sweep.
Colin Turkington took the spoils in round 24 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch, as Fabrizio Giovanardi took further points off championship leader Jason Plato.

Round 6: Plato wins to extend advantage.
With many of his rivals having hit problems in a carnage filled second race at Rockingham, Jason Plato secured victory in the final race of the weekend to extend his lead in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship standings.

Round 4: Giovanardi leads Vauxhall 1-2.
Fabrizio Giovanardi has secured his first win of the 2007 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season - and VX Racing's first win with the new Vectra - after a lights to flag victory in race one at Rockingham.

Round 29: Jordan injury overshadows Neal victory.
Matt Neal celebrated his title success with victory in the second race of Finals Day for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship but the race was overshadowed by a high-speed accident involving Team Eurotech driver Mike Jordan.

Round 22: Plato leads SEAT 1-2.
NB: Turner was later given a 20sec penalty for the Safety Car infringement - dropping him to tenth place Jason Plato led home team-mate Darren Turner for a one-two finish for SEAT in the opening race for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Knockhill.

Round 24: Neal leads historic Halfords 1-2-3.
After the drama of race two at Knockhill, Team Halfords came to the fore in the final race of the eighth round of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship as Matt Neal led the team's first ever clean sweep of the podium.

Round 18: Turkington makes Vauxhall wait.
Colin Turkington claimed victory in race three at Donington Park in what was arguably the most dramatic race of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season - preventing Vauxhall from securing a landmark 100th BTCC win in the process.

Reigning Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship driver Matt Neal opened his win account for 2006 by taking victory in a subdued first race at Mondello Park.
